Official Notice for foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving to the Republic of Abkhazia.
Foreign citizen or stateless person (hereinafter foreign citizen) entering the Republic of Abkhazia through the border checkpoints shall submit to the customs of the Republic of Abkhazia following documents:
1. Document identifying the identity of the person or the valid national passport.
2. Visa issued by the Consular Service of the Republic of Abkhazia or Entrance Permission issued by the Consular Service of the MFA of the R.A.
Upon the availability of the Entrance Permission issued by the Consular service of the MFA of the R.A. foreign citizen is obliged to come to the Consular Service of the MFA of the R.A. within 24 hours to proceed the visa.
I. The granting of single entry transit visa: | |
- for less than 48 hours: | 20 USD. |
2. The granting of single entry visa: | |
- for less than 30 days: | 20 USD. |
- for less than one year: | 30 USD. |
3. The granting of multi-entry and multi-exit visa: | |
- for less than 3 months: | 40 USD. |
- for less than one year: | 60 USD. |
4. Extending the visa : | |
- for less than 12 hours: | 5 USD. |
- for less than 24 hours: | 10 USD. |
- for less than 48 hours: | 20 USD. |
- for less than 72 hours: | 30 USD. |
- for less than 10 days: | 50 USD. |
- for longer than 10 days: | Every following exceeded 10 days - 50 USD charge. |
In case the Entrance Permission or Abkhaz visa is required it is recommended to apply to the Consular Service of the Republic of Abkhazia. Upon the entry to the Republic of Abkhazia foreign citizen while crossing the passport check at Abkhazia Customs is obliged to submit his/her visa or Entrance Permission which is referred to as an entry and exit permission.
